Our certified practitioners in trauma-informed care and art therapy recognize the signs and symptoms of trauma in club members. They respond by integrating knowledge about trauma into policies, procedures, and practices.

Social emotional learning (SEL) is a program that helps students of all ages to better comprehend their emotions, to feel those emotions fully, and demonstrate empathy for others. Additionally, a certified art therapy practitioner is available to help club members express their feelings and emotions through art. This professional guidance allows children to explore their emotions creatively, fostering emotional growth and self-awareness.These learned behaviors are then used to help students make positive, responsible decisions; creating framework to achieve their goals, and build positive relationships with others.

The club’s sensory room has a selection of therapy products and sensory seating to help children self-regulate, manage AD H D, stress, and improve concentration. The adaptive equipment and toys in the sensory room helps kids develop and engage their senses. Special lighting was installed to create a relaxing atmosphere and noise reduction headphones are available – especially for those youngsters with sensory processing disorders.
