Our Mission

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Need in Carter County

Every day Elizabethton/Carter County kids leave school with nowhere to go. They risk being unsupervised, unguided and unsafe. There is no other afterschool or summer program in Carter County like the Boys & Girls Club. It is essential to our economy and community!

Our Reach

    • 15,421 hot meals and 18,676 snacks served in 2024! More than 500 community meals were provided as the Club is an open food site for all.
    • 75% of club kids receive mental health services from the Social Emotion Well Being program.
    • More than 66 kids receive homework help during “PowerHour.”
    • 95% improved reading level.

Our Positive impact

  • What We Do
Our education programs ensure kids will be successful in academics by keeping them learning throughout the summer and out of school days. The Club prepares kids to be reading by the 3rd grade and supports teens to be globally competitive graduates.
